Established in 2006, Union Iron and Steel is the manufacturer of rebar, or steel bars for concrete reinforcement. With expertise in delivering high quality products and technologies, the company aims to meet the region’s demand for quality steel bars while reducing huge import volume.

The company is positioned to manufacture rebar conforming to international quality standards and to supply as per market requirement. Facilities include state-of-the-art, Siemens Italy (formerly known as Vai Pomini) fully automated Rolling Mills with a capacity to produce 350,000 ton per year.

The plant is strategically located in the Abu Dhabi Industrial Zone. UIS is a private sector steel company in the UAE.
